UTrade is the online stock trading platform of Unicapital Securities, Inc. that makes stock investing easier and smarter for clients. UTrade provides clients with full access to real-time stock market trading and investing, as well as customizable layouts, tools, and a comprehensive charting system – giving our clients a seamless and convenient trading experience, with access to a range of investment options, including stocks, mutual funds, bonds, and other securities. UTraders also enjoy the benefit of receiving regular research reports, stock recommendations, and invitations to exclusive market briefings and educational webinars for them to gain the knowledge they need to succeed in the stock market.
UTrade is accessible on both desktop and mobile devices through our user-friendly app, UTradePH, which is available on both Google Play and the Apple Store.
UTRADE’S HISTORY
UTrade is one of Unicapital Group’s multiple financial solutions for the needs of our clients. Its history could be traced as far back as 1976 – the year when Unicapital Group started.
1976
Unicapital Finance and Investments, Inc. was established as the Group’s financing arm providing financial and loan services to individuals and corporations.
1994
Majalco, Inc. and GMA Network, Inc. entered a joint venture to form the investment house, Unicapital, Inc. (UI), that subsequently acquired 100% of Unicapital Finance and Investments, Inc. (UFII).
1997
Unicapital further expanded its services through the incorporation of a majority-owned subsidiary Unicapital Securities, Inc. (USI) – a securities brokerage house licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission and a bonafide member of the Philippine Stock Exchange.
2014
Recognizing the need for a more convenient way to trade, USI launched UTrade, its online stock trading platform. UTrade has grown significantly and today serves as a reliable, real-time tool for our clients. It’s not just about making trades easier—it’s about giving people access to the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in the stock market.
2020
USI forged a partnership with Japan’s Naito Securities, bringing their decades of experience in global markets to complement our local expertise. This has allowed the company to broaden its horizons, offering a wider range of services and expanding our reach both here in the Philippines and overseas.
2024
UTrade launched a new version of the mobile app that provides a better and smarter on-the-go stock trading experience
